The American Kennedy political dynasty, spanning from Irish immigrant Patrick Joseph Kennedy through the patriarch Joseph P. Kennedy Sr. and matriarch Rose Fitzgerald, their nine children including President John F. Kennedy and Senators Robert and Ted Kennedy, and into the next generation.
